NEC airing for new Romahome base vehicle
Isle of Wight-based manufacturer Romahome will be on an island stand in Hall 3 at NEC for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show between February 17 and 22.
On display will be two van conversions, the R30, getting its first airing on the revised Citroen Relay base vehicle, and Citroen Nemo-based R10, a left hand drive coachbuilt R20 Citroen Berlingo, and the D20 demountable on a DFSK pick-up which has had a good reception since its surprise launch at NEC in October.
Brian Bailey, who has been part of Romahome since it started in 1982, said D20 now has several firm orders and the production line at the factory at Cowes was busy with the conversion of a number of R30 and R10 models.
“The New Relay brings significant electronic aids and driver benefits to the R30, among them air conditioning, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth hands free and USB connectivity, Teletrac Smartnav satellite navigation, and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking,” added Brian.
