Freeborn team blazes the trail to show success

When the team from Freeborn Motorhomes hit the trail to the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC they were all set for success.

And by the time the event ended on Sunday they were not disappointed.

The team was the top achiever among Auto-Trail dealers with 20 models sold, and they also sold three models from Elddis and 11 from Romahome, including nine examples of the New R20 launched in High roof form at NEC last October and Low roof at Excel in the Spring.

“This is my first full NEC event with Freeborn Motorhomes and I could see how hard the team worked to win their success,” said Freeborn Group Sales Manager Chris Healy.

“I was able to take stock of how we worked and am already developing ideas for next year’s show, the perfect opportunity to crown a good sales year and get started on the next one!

“The sale of so many new 2013 motorhomes means we will have a great selection of part exchange vehicles that suit varied budgets and details are already on our website at, where prices are also listed to take away that infuriating mystery that alienates people from ‘coming soon’ listings.

“All the Freeborn Motorhomes and Romahome Centre sales staff can negotiate on these and they will feature in our forthcoming end of season sales event over the weekend of November 16, 17, and 18 at the Freeborn Motorhomes and Romahome Centre in Southampton and November 30 and December 1 and 2 at Freeborn Motorhomes in Guildford Road, Godalming.

“We have had a successful year, with good results from outside shows in a trading year that all motorhome retailers have found tough as well as an excellent performance from our centres in Godalming and Southampton.

“While we are very price competitive, we are also strong in our after-sales service, particularly since we launched the dedicated workshop in our new Southampton centre which can undertake base vehicle servicing in addition to full habitation services and repairs.”
